We welcome and introduce the artist, Eva Martinez, to our board as Artistic Director. Eva is an emerging artist who is currently working with Houston’s DiverseWorks and will soon be creating intensively at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, pursuing her MFA in studio/sculpture. She will use her expertise to strengthen our VSL curriculum and to provide further access to the global networks of science, technology, and the arts. VSL celebrates Eva Martinez for being on board as well as for her professional and artistic endeavors.

Eva Martinez is a visual artist currently living and working in Houston. Starting in the fall of 2014 she will be pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts degree in studio/sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
